- Uploaded content: videos, transcripts, prompts, and any files you upload for clipping.
- Billing information: processed by our payment provider (we never store full card numbers).
- Support communications and feedback you send us.

- Cookies and session tokens for authentication and preferences.
- Log data: IP address, browser, device, timestamps, feature usage, errors.
1.3 From Third Parties
- Payment processors provide transaction confirmations and dispute info.
- OAuth providers (Google) share your basic profile when you sign in.
- AI providers process transcripts and videos to power clipping features.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver the Service — transcribe, analyze, and generate clips from your uploads.
- Manage accounts, workspaces, billing, and support.
- Improve model quality, ranking, and product features (aggregated / de-identified where possible).
- Send transactional emails and, with consent, product updates.
- Detect fraud, abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share only with:
- Cloud hosting, storage, and database providers running SliceClips infrastructure.
- AI providers (e.g., transcription, clip scoring, generation) strictly to process your requests.
- Payment processors for billing.
- Law enforcement or courts when legally required.
- An acquirer in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice).
4. Your Uploaded Videos
Your uploaded videos and generated clips are stored in a private, per-user storage bucket. Only you and the members of your workspace can access them. We do not use your video content to train third-party foundation models. You may delete a project at any time from the dashboard.
5. Security
- TLS in transit; encryption at rest for stored files.
- Row-level security enforced at the database layer.
- Least-privilege access for staff and service accounts.
No system is 100% secure. Keep your password confidential.
6. Your Rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data by using the dashboard or emailing us. California (CCPA) and EEA/UK (GDPR) residents have additional rights, including the right to object and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Children
SliceClips is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
8. Retention
We keep your account and content until you delete it, plus a short backup window. Billing records may be kept longer to satisfy tax and accounting obligations.
